Markaids Food Ingredient Supplier FAQs

Markaids research, produce, and distribute speciality food ingredients to food manufacturers and processors in Malaysia and Singapore.

They are what we call technical ingredients, which are used in very small dosages but have a huge impact on the food and beverage products that we eat every day.

Examples of speciality food ingredients include texturisers, flavour boosters, spice extracts, sweeteners, natural colourings, and other ingredients for nutritive benefits.

Speciality food ingredients are often used by small to big scale food and beverage manufacturers and central kitchens.

They improve the overall product performance by enhancing taste, texture, appearance, nutrition, and more.

Markaids is a Malaysian-based food science and technology company that boasts an in-house innovation centre for research and development (R&D) and quality control (QC). All of our products are Halal certified. Recognising that many of our customers lack large facilities or quality control measures, and that our specialised food ingredients are often used in small doses, we simplify the process by proving the service of blending them together to make it more convenient for our customers, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises. Our unique selling point is our highly technical approach and our commitment to truly understanding the problems of our customers.

Within our team, we train and emphasise a deep scientific knowledge of the application and functional aspects of the food speciality ingredients they are used in. Our first core value is to then focus on the customer — only by creating sustainable solutions for our customers can our company grow and achieve long-term success.
