The awareness and observance of Halal has been of the highest importance within the food and beverage industry in this area, thus Halal compliance is our top priority. Unsurprisingly, the food sector makes up over 60% of the global market for Halal products. This includes primary meat, processed goods, bakery food and confectionery, with processed goods contributing to around 35% of the total.

 

Throughout the industry, Halal requirements must be complied with at all stages of the production and supply chain, including procurement of raw materials and ingredients, logistics and transportation, packaging and labelling.

Established in 2005, ISO 22000 was designed as an accessible, globally accepted standard, and is applicable to organisations of all sizes, involved in any aspect of the food supply chain. The standard covers the key components for ensuring food safety including interactive communication, system management and hazard control. Being certified to ISO 22000, shows that we do not compromise on food quality or safety.
